Job Title: HVAC Project Manager
Location: West Allis, WI
Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000+ | Bonus Eligible | Car Allowance | Health Benefits | PTO | 401(k)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Project Manager with experience in new construction project management. The ideal candidate will lead HVAC projects ranging from small to large-scale commercial installations up to $3 million or more. This role involves overseeing all aspects of project execution, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Plan, organize, and manage HVAC construction projects from inception to completion.
- Lead project teams, including superintendents, foremen, and technicians.
- Establish project objectives, policies, and procedures while ensuring compliance with company and contract standards.
- Budgeting & Financials:
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates.
- Prepare and track financial reports, ensuring budget goals are met.
- Monitor project work in progress (WIP) and adjust project execution as needed.
- Scheduling & Coordination:
- Collaborate with project teams to create project schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate material procurement, subcontractor activities, and job site logistics.
- Lead project meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Client Relations & Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing project updates, concerns, and change orders.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering high-quality service.
- Compliance & Quality Control:
- Ensure all work complies with industry codes and company safety policies.
- Conduct site inspections to maintain high project standards and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of HVAC project management experience in new construction.
- Proven track record managing projects up to $3 million or more.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, P&IDs, and industry codes.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
