An Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of Engineers in the completion of engineering projects. Their duties include hiring and training qualified engineering staff, setting project budgets and timelines for completion and helping their staff run tests or troubleshoot issues with prototypes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designs, implements, and refines product development, testing, and manufacturing processes.
- Manages staff and assigns tasks to engineering and technical personnel and measure performance.
- Leads teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes.
- Oversees project logistics, layout, installation and resource allocation.
- Strives to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs, and to reduce waste.
- Secures the resources needed for teams to excel, including researching and proposing capital investments.
- Helps to create and oversee project budgets and engages in cost management strategies and CAPEX.
- Work on process improvement on our injection molding lines
- Data analysis to improve efficiency
Qualifications/Training:
· Bachelor's degree in either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
- Analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems.
- Organizational skills for keeping track of various budgets, employees and schedules simultaneously.
- Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes
· Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S

- AutoCAD
- Automotive manufacturing
- IATF16949
- New model launching processes
- Process documentation (BOM, Process flow, PFMEA, CP,…)
