Location: Mason, OH 45040

Compensation: $75-100/hour based on years of experience

Shift: Monday- Thursday onsite, every other Friday off!!!

Interview Process: 1 round onsite interview


Required Skills & Experience

  • 7-15 years in a Project Engineer/Program Manager/Project Lead role
  • Engineering or Comparable Degree (EE, EET)
  • 5+ years in an EVMS (earned value management) environment (cost account management, budget management) utilizing excel
  • 5+ years in a scheduling experience with MS Project, Excel
  • Product Lifecyle management experience in a technical field (from design through production)

Job Description

An employer is seeking a Program Manager for an opportunity in the Mason, OH area. This project engineer will be joining a Federal Client that specializes in Sensor programs to design, develop and manufacture complex systems for the defense, aerospace and commercial markets. Prior experience in electronics, avionics, transceivers, transmitters, electro-optical, circuit boards or electro-mechanical device is preferred and will allow the Project Engineer to hit the ground running. On a day-to-day basis this Project Manager can be expected to work cross functionally and support multiple projects at once for different tactical duties including: the cost/schedule/technical aspects of ongoing engineering projects within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager, Head Project Engineer, and customer. Being confident in reporting to upper management and having high level stakeholder conversations is crucial to this role as is taking initiative to drive project success. They will also manage risk, including identification and mitigation plans, and issue elevation and resolution while maintaining scope control through disciplined change management control. The ideal candidate must be able to be on site in Mason daily and has the ability to obtain a clearance down the line to diversify their project scope.


The Project Manager will be tied to sensor side of the business and DoD projects that kicked off in 2025. Other daily responsibilities will include and not be limited to overseeing product lifecycle management, integrated master schedules and overseeing different circuit board assemblies (CCA or PCB).
