Hybrid role starting next week for an Art Director with 5+ years experience in the fashion, beauty, or retail industry--looking for previous experience working on production-ready packaging designs, web, mobile, and social campaigns. This client is located in the Metrowest and onsite two days a week; this is a full time contract starting out at three months with a chance to extend after that.
Responsibilities
Art Director
Start immediately, contract 3-4 months
Global Creative Vision:

Strong Packaging Design Expertise:
- Proven track record of creating innovative and functional packaging designs, including structural and graphic elements, that enhance the product’s appeal.
- Ability to develop both conceptual and production-ready packaging designs, considering materials, sustainability, and manufacturability.
Digital Design Mastery:
- Expertise in creating high-quality digital designs for web, mobile, and social platforms, with a focus on user experience and engagement.
- Proficiency in digital tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, etc.) to execute both static and interactive designs.
Rapid Concept Generation:
- Exceptional ability to quickly generate multiple creative design concepts from the same brief, with minimal direction.
- Capable of working under tight deadlines to produce high-quality design options in a short turnaround time, critical for New Product Development (NPD) and packaging timelines.
Flexibility with Competing Priorities:
- Comfortable managing multiple design projects with competing priorities, adjusting timelines and focus as needed.
- Skilled at quickly shifting between packaging design, digital executions, and other creative tasks while ensuring consistent quality and creativity.
Creative Autonomy:
