Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Rockford, IL
Compensation: $125,000 - $180,000 (Depending on experience)

What You'll Do
- Oversee all administrative, accounting, and budgeting operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
- Serve as the key liaison between U.S. operations and European stakeholders, bridging US GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Lead and inspire your team, fostering professional growth while managing human, technical, and financial resources.
- Prepare financial statements, oversee audits, manage vendor payments, and ensure accurate cost allocation.
- Work hands-on with accounts payable, cash calls, and inventory management.
- Coordinate the activities of the Administration Area and maintain relationships with external entities, such as financial institutions, credit institutions, consultants, and auditors.
- Ensure compliance with tax, civil law, and corporate regulations for staff members reporting to him/her.
- Ensure the proper application of accounting principles in line with legal requirements and Group policies, optimizing accounting systems for corporate and statutory purposes.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and submits them to the Head of Controlling/Corporate.
- Conducts all necessary audits and entries for the preparation of annual financial statements.
- Manage the correct allocation of costs and revenues to accounting ledgers and cost centers.
- Oversee payments to vendors and manage the customer/supplier schedule for open items.
- Supervise payroll entries in the system.
- Manage the annual compilation and safekeeping of the Inventory Book, Journal Book, and Asset Book in the archives.
- Oversee the printing of minutes for Board of Directors and Shareholders' Meetings in the Corporate Books.
- Compile audit minutes and prepare the documentation requested by auditors.
- Provide administrative and tax consulting firms with required documentation and clarifications for tax form completion.
- Manage resource load/capacity to ensure proper execution of activities.
What We're Looking For
- A strong communicator with the ability to navigate and align U.S. and European financial practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA preferred).
- Experience in accounting and preparing financial statements; manufacturing experience is a plus.
- A controller ready for the next step or an experienced CFO looking for a new challenge.
