Job Description
The Client Service Associate collaborates with Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers to deliver high-touch service to high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Coordinates with Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers to support the advisory process
- Having strategic conversations around client scenarios with PMs/RM – not just delivering on a request
- Builds client relationships by interacting directly with clients in an advisory capacity, with PM/RM oversight
- Attends client/prospective client meetings and events with Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers
- Responds to routine client requests via phone, email, etc.
- Assists with preparation of presentation materials and sophisticated financial modeling
- Acts as a project manager, coordinating across internal and external subject matter experts (e.g. tax, legal, real estate, lending, etc.)
- Documents client interactions and maintains accurate CRM records
- Prepares custodian paperwork, contracts, and subscription agreements
- Facilitates cash and security movements
- Collaborates with leadership on initiatives designed to streamline firm procedures
- Supports business development initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of experience in wealth management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High integrity and empathy
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Series 7 & 66 (or desire to obtain)
- CFP preferred (or desire to obtain)
- Experience with Addepar, Salesforce, Schwab, and/or Fidelity
