This position supports the Finance Manager by performing and/or overseeing a variety of accounting and finance related tasks, including preparing financial reports, managing budgets, processing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, all while providing administrative support to the finance department


Essential Duties:


  • Oversee and assist in any Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions throughout the Northeast region.
  • Review, enable and facilitate both operations and Finance, with the goal of completing Finance tasks within monthly deadlines. This may include creating/improving current system for this task that works for all.
  • Oversee financial analysis including monthly revenue and costs at divisional and site levels (not including certain benefit and overhead accounts).
  • Assure revenue and expenses are recorded in the month they are earned, including creating accrual journal entries.
  • Function as a resource to facilitate understanding of key processes.
  • Act as Liaison between Operations and AR/AP (Finance).
  • Assist operations with finance related inquiries.
  • Creating reclass journal entries when needed.
  • Ad-hoc reporting when needed.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred.
  • Three plus years of related experience required (relevant experience in facilities services-related field value add).
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Proficiency in various ERPs (Microsoft GP highly preferred).
  • Self-motivated and able to plan workload effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Analytical thinker and a team player.
