As a LIS Administration Consultant, you will work with laboratory staff to implement projects, provide consulting services, and ensure on-time delivery with client satisfaction. Your role includes offering guidance on workflow planning, promoting best practices, and maximizing client ROI. Services may be delivered onsite or remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders pre- and post-sale to align project scope with client expectations.
- Lead implementations while adhering to departmental procedures.
- Advise clients on workflow efficiency using best practices.
- Provide product training during implementation.
- Suggest process improvements based on client and internal feedback.
- Travel to client sites to install and configure software.
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, individually and as part of a team.
- Train and support laboratory staff on LIMS usage and best practices.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Perform additional duties as needed to contribute to the company’s success.

Required Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharma, or Toxicology.
- 3+ years of experience in laboratory management or informatics, with LIMS expertise.
- Proficiency in SQL query writing and programming languages (e.g., C++, Java, PL/SQL).
- Familiarity with lab operations, QA, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Experience with APIs and interfaces (e.g., HL7) and SQL database management tools.
