This person will occasionally go to their Warren plant

Title: HR Manager/Senior HR Generalist

Working Arrangement: 100% onsite, based in Sterling Heights, some visits to Warren plant

Our client is a privately held, growing company in the Metro Detroit area. They are seeking a Human Resources Manager/Senior HR Generalist to add to their growing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES of the Human Resources Manager/Senior HR Generalist

• Implement and direct all HR functions within the organization, which has 2 plants (100 employees total)
• Collaborate across all levels and areas in the organization to build relationships and trust
• Work with Management team to optimize current HR Compliance policies and benefits plans for the organization
• Oversee payroll for the entire organization with support from 3rd party
• Primary internal recruiter for all salary and hourly positions, including technical and office roles

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE of the Human Resources Manager/Senior HR Generalist

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably HR) is required
• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources covering all areas,
• Excellent communication, people, written and presentation skills
• Team player who can work well with other functional groups
• Customer service orientation
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to ensure confidentiality
