- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

About the Role
As a Metropolis Dermatology Practice Manager, you will have responsibility for all aspects of clinic operations, including clinical, patient service, and financial processes. In partnership with the site Anchor MD, you will drive performance by mentoring and coaching your clinic team, managing financial outcomes, and supporting patient retention and growth through operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
Clinic Management and Leadership: Ensure every aspect of the patient and provider experience runs smoothly and efficiently. Set the culture of the clinic to inspire excellence and collaboration with your team.
- Oversee all aspects of day to day operations
- Be a coach, mentor and leader for your team
- Be the role model for customer service expectations
- Coach staff to maintain a tight-knit relationship between the clinical and front office teams
- Partner with ops leadership and Anchor MD to create and execute on clinic business plans
- Monitor operational and service trends, make recommendations, and share feedback with operations leadership team
Operations Management : Ensure all clinic operations run smoothly including all systems and processes with exceptional customer experience.
- Create and manage staffing schedules
- Maintain timely and accurate staff time cards and payroll
- Ensure clinic operations meet all Metropolis standards and metrics are tracked
- Manage supply ordering and inventory in accordance with expense budget
- Assist in development and updates of training materials, policies, and procedures
- Reinforce patient experience standards and escalate as necessary to achieve resolution
- Maintain transparent communications structure to keep the teams engaged and informed
- Ensure employees understand and follow all Metropolis policies, including HIPAA, OSHA, and safety procedures
- Work with ops leadership and technology partners to escalate and resolve issues as they arise
People Management - Work closely with the operations leadership on recruiting and hiring to ensure the clinic has an excellent talent pipeline and effective onboarding and training.
- Work with the ops leadership to recruit and retain all clinic staff positions
- Oversee exceptional onboarding and training experience for all new hires, including the clinical care team
- Ensure that proper access for individual staff to successfully perform their particular role
- Manage performance of patient coordinators, medical assistants, estheticians and any other Metropolis staff
- Deliver timely feedback and maintain open lines of communication with all team members
