Position Title: Engineering Technician – Reservoir & Production

Company Overview:

The company operates in the Gulf of Mexico and focuses on oil and natural gas production.

Role Summary:

The Engineering Technician will support Reservoir & Production Engineers with project management and engineering tasks. This role requires a proactive individual capable of working independently to manage and streamline databases, track production, and assist in operational planning.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate and manage existing databases—strong use of Access and Excel.
• Coordinate weekly project meetings, review and improve team Sharefile.
• Track quarterly Recompletes and Workovers.
• Prepare regulatory filings for SRI reports.
• Prepare and review internal volume requests.
• Assist in preparing AFEs and presentation packages.
• Perform production surveillance based on team requirements, analyze trends, and report variances.
• Support for Annual 10K reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient information flow and project completion.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of offshore oilfield operations is required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, and Access skills.
• Proficiency in Teams, Aries, Harmony & WellEz.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Associate degree in a technical or engineering field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• A minimum of 5 + years of engineering technician experience in a similar role is required.
