- Management & Mentorship : Lead the team by coordinating workflows and providing clear direction. Build and train a high-performing team, manage budgets, balance workloads, and track performance metrics. Foster a culture of collaboration and professional growth while supporting career development.
- Research & Forward Thinking : Research, analyze, and test automation control systems (SCADA, PLC) to enhance machine efficiency and meet future production demands. Define standards for control components, software, databases, and system interfaces while maintaining alignment with company strategies.
- Development, Testing & Preventative Maintenance : Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of plant management interfaces, server-based systems, and data collection tools. Establish preventative maintenance guidelines for recurring issues and work with internal customers to resolve system problems or implement improvements.
- Collaboration & Relationships : Act as a critical liaison between vendors and internal teams to ensure equipment, control panels, wiring schematics, and components adhere to company specifications and procedures. Build strong relationships across functional departments to drive alignment and success.

- Proficiency in programming or web technologies.
- Understanding of SCADA and control systems, including data communication protocols, industrial protocols, and operating systems like Microsoft Windows and Unix/Linux.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hands-on experience with PLC or SCADA and Operator Interface programming languages.
- A four-year degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training (one to two years minimum).
