Data Scientist

Position Type: Contract to Hire

Location: Denver Tech Center, Hybrid

Rate: $65-$75/Hour

Our Denver-based client is looking to grow their team! They are a leading provider of reliable high-speed internet & TV, and are needing Data Scientist with strong Python & SQL experience who can join their insights team to help improve their customers' experience.

IDEAL CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE

- 3+ Years of experience with Data manipulation and statistical modeling as a data scientist

- 3+ Years of experience with Python

- 3+ Years of experience with SQL.

- Strong analytics skills in SQL and Excel

- Experience leading the design, develop and deployment machine learning and analytics models

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the internet customer experience.

- Requirements gathering, problem formulation, data grooming, data exploration, model prototyping, and model validation

- Leverage consultative experience delivering insights on large, structured and unstructured data to product owners and executives with strong communications skills (verbal, written PowerPoint).

- Perform analyses using a range of techniques from basic (pivot table) to advanced (ML models).

- Troubleshoot, debug, solve problems where the analytical approach or algorithm is not meeting performance standards.

- Use Python to support of advanced analytics.
