Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers and testers to ensure the highest standards of quality and performance in our applications.
• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and automation frameworks to drive efficiency and accuracy in the testing process.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, address, and resolve defects, ensuring that quality assurance standards are consistently met.
• Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, including manual and automated testing, to ensure user expectations and requirements are satisfied.

Responsibilities:

• Lead QA Initiatives: Supervise and guide the QA team, ensuring effective execution of test plans and adherence to quality standards.
• Defect Management: Identify, analyze, and remedy defects within the software lifecycle process. Provide detailed defect reports and recommendations for remediation.
• Preventive Actions: Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to continuously improve quality assurance processes.
• Data Analysis: Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data to evaluate the performance and reliability of applications.
• User Expectations: Ensure that testing processes meet user expectations and align with product requirements.
• Policy Development: Draft, maintain, and update quality assurance policies and procedures to support consistent testing practices.
• Customer Issues: Investigate customer complaints and product issues, providing actionable insights and recommendations for resolution.
• Testing Tools Management: Utilize and manage various testing tools, including Postman, Jmeter, test automation using pytest, Selenium or Playwright and others, to support comprehensive testing efforts. (MUST-HAVE)

Must have Skill Set

? Postman (5+ Years on multiple integrated projects)

? JMeter (3+ Years)

? Selenium with Java/Python, Robot Framework (5+ Years)

? AWS Native- CloudWatch, Datadog, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQL, DynamoDB , SNS, SQS (Must have)

? JIRA / Test Rail

? Bitbucket

? QA leadership (ownership of end to end complex integrated multiple projects, functional, performance, security)

? Test management, governance, capacity planning, resource management, prioritization, stakeholder management.
