Qualifications

· 2+ years experience.

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

· Detailed knowledge of equipment from various manufacturers and the ability to make proper selections independently.

· Expert experience with specifying mechanical equipment (e.g. rotating and static equipment) and piping material specifications.

· Expert familiarity with industry codes and standards (ICC, ASHRAE, NFAA, etc.).

· Experience executing work in 3D model environments.

· Experience with building systems design (HVAC, hydronic, etc.).

· Experience working in collaborative model environments (e.g. Navisworks, BIM 360)

· Professional Engineering license is a plus. BUT NOT REQUIRED

· Strong experience with engineering software packages: Trace 3D, Revit, CAD, etc. .
