We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cable Technician to join our team.. This role involves installing, maintaining, and decommissioning various cable systems to ensure optimal performance and connectivity for our clients.

Target Start Date: 1/16 and 1/23.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and decommission cabling systems including network and cable lines throughout a Data Center
• Perform fiber splicing and ensure proper connections for high-speed data transmission.
• Utilize hand tools and voltmeters to troubleshoot and resolve issues in cable installations.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Conduct tests on installed systems to verify functionality and performance.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their cable needs.

Requirements

• Aerial/Scissor Lift Cert
• Tools: Tape measure, Snips, and an 11-in-1 screwdriver
• Proven experience working with electrical systems, cabling, fiber splicing, and/or telecommunications
• Ability to use hand tools and voltmeters effectively for installation and troubleshooting tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, 4 month contract with possibility of extension up to 8+ months
