This is a job posting for a full-time position as an employee of our manufacturing client. The position requires commuting to the Diboll, TX, area and cannot be done remotely. About the Role
The incumbent will be responsible for the management and compliance with OSHA’s process safety management (PSM) requirements to support the facility.
Responsibilities
- Partner with plant and operations leadership and serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding interpretation of federal, state and local PSM and RMP standards and regulations
- Conduct PSM and RMP risk assessments developing remediation plans as needed including mechanical integrity
- Conduct incident investigations developing remediation plans as needed
- Lead audits and inspections developing remediation plans as needed
- Build and maintain positive relationships with federal, state and local regulators
- Lead Continuous Improvement initiative regarding programs
- Maintain and ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state and local PSM and RMP regulations
- Lead employee training programs regarding PSM and RMP compliance
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College / University in Environmental Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Required Skills
- Must commute to the facility in Diboll, TX on a daily basis
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States, employer sponsorship is not available
- Three (3) or more years of EHS management experience, preferably in chemical manufacturing or oil and gas refining
- Demonstrated success in overseeing all aspects of PSM and RMP standards
Preferred Skills
- 5 or more years of EHS management experience in manufacturing environments
- Professional Certification from a nationally recognized organization
