Quality Assurance Engineer

Company: NVIDIA

Location: Santa Clara

Schedule: Typical 8-5PM, HYBRID 3X in office, 2x remote

Pay: range between $35-$38/HR

Interviews: 2 rounds

Duration: 6 month contract, then convert to salaried employee


This is for a team that sits on the GPU side of the company. This is a team of about 10 people, who are Focused on GPUs, doing some compute work. This role is primarily desktop and notebook GPUs. This role will be responsible for monitoring regression forms, configuring systems, maintaining GPU infrastructure from a QA Engineer perspective. You will help with compatibility testing, building pcs, configuring OS, running through test cases. Typical QA activities. The team is expanding and their roadmap is packed so they are excited about the idea of bringing on a Junior QA Engineer to hopefully grow with the team long term.


Job Description:

  • Validate products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards.
  • Develop, modify, and execute test plans.
  • Analyze and write tests standards and procedures.
  • Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of GPUs.
  • Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
  • Consult with development engineers in resolutions of problems.


Requirements:

  • BS degree in CS/EE or two years QA experience
  • Linux Experience
  • Able to build PCs: Assembly, Setup, installation etc.
  • Strong experience in executing test plans, interpret and communicate results.
  • Experience in developing strong QA processes.
  • Experience in troubleshooting routine problems that may occur during test plan executions.
  • Good communication skills: Verbal and written.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
