NetAcquire Corporation, a Kirkland-based manufacturer of specialized computer solutions for aerospace test and evaluation programs, has an opening for a Linux Software Developer.

As part of a small team, you will participate in the development and testing of real-time software meant to operate in the telemetry, aerospace, and defense industries. You will share a part in developing application code ranging from real-time data processing to driver development to user-facing APIs. Our products have a direct impact on customers in range safety, launch facilities, tracking and testing, on-ground satellite simulation, and much more.

We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, willingness to learn new technologies, and leadership to a role that directly affects the success of critical missions. We’re seeking someone who is a self-starter and can pick up varied tasks while communicating across teams in a concise manner.

$103-140k salary

Requirements:

• B.S. degree or higher in computer engineering, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience and qualifications.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and testing software on Linux platforms.
• Experience writing software requirements.
• Experience with C/C++.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Experience with serial communications and networking protocols (TCP, UDP…).
• Experience designing robust APIs and interfaces.
• Experience with git.
• Willingness for small amount of travel as needed.

Desired:

• Experience in other languages like Python, Rust, Java, etc.
• Experience with device drivers.
• Experience with embedded software.
• Ability to generate innovative, reusable, maintainable solutions.
