We are looking for an Account Manager to be based in Houston, TX, to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers in the US, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities


Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain deep, trusted relationships with key accounts and stakeholders. Act as a reliable advisor and partner to clients.
  • Account Strategy: Develop and implement account plans with a focus on strengthening relationships and understanding client needs.
  • Client Engagement: Schedule and conduct meetings, including lunches and dinners, to build rapport and address client needs effectively.
  • Revenue Generation: While not the primary focus, contribute to revenue growth by identifying opportunities within existing accounts and proposing relevant solutions.
  • Service Management: Oversee service delivery in the tech space, ensuring that Pantheon’s offerings meet client expectations and add value.
  • Autonomous Execution: Take initiative in managing accounts and executing plans with minimal supervision. Be responsive to instructions and adept at running with ideas independently.
  • Networking: Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within client organizations and proactively reach out to build relationships.


Preferred: Managed Services or IT Services or Staffing Services, Fixed Point Contracts, TAAS or SAAS


Qualifications


  • Previous account management experience
  • Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing role
  • Willingness and ability to travel
