Role: Account Manager

Location: Sacramento, CA

Type: Fulltime


Need someone with government /state/county experience from a staffing perspective


Position Summary:

Do you have a passion for public service and a desire to help government agencies leverage technology and talent to better serve their communities? We are seeking a Junior Account Manager with a strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by state, county, and city agencies. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting and expanding our relationships with these key clients by offering both staffing and technology solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding them through their technology journey and helping them find the right talent to achieve their goals. This role requires a unique blend of customer service skills, sales acumen, a basic understanding of technology, and a genuine interest in public service. Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within state, county, and city agencies.

Understand the specific needs and challenges of each client and tailor staffing and technology solutions accordingly.

Proactively identify opportunities to expand existing accounts by introducing new products, services, and talent solutions.

Collaborate with internal teams (Professional Services, Managed Services, Staffing) to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.

Stay informed about government procurement processes and regulations.

Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in CRM software.

Develop a basic understanding of common technology solutions used by government agencies (e.g., cybersecurity, cloud computing, data analytics).

Effectively communicate the value proposition of our staffing and technology solutions to clients.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Associate degree in business, public administration, or a related field preferred.

1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within the public sector or supporting government contracts.

Demonstrated interest in technology and its application in government settings.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver's license and insurance.
