A multi-million world leader in Electro-mechanical systems is looking for a Sales Engineer for aerospace, military, defense and high-end industrial applications. As a Sales Engineer fast-track and evolve into senior management, with potential possible Vice President progression later in your career!



Job Summary of the Sales Engineer:

  • Develop extensive knowledge of company products, applications, and strategic focus/objectives.
  • Provide a high level of customer service by serving as a liaison between the customer and the company on engineering matters regarding product applications, sales and service.
  • Ability to understand the global aerospace marketplace in terms of industry developments for both the OEM’s and Aftermarket segments
  • Maintain current business contracted while growing the territory through market share gain at the account base, through signing new customer business, and through bringing new applications to the business units on targeted existing and targeted new programs.
  • Review Terms and Conditions at proposal or bid (solicitation) stage
  • Assist Business Unit Manger and VP of Sales during contract negotiation. Champion the negotiation when instructed.
  • Prepare an annual fiscal year forecast for both OEM and Aftermarket business, including new business opportunities, which must be updated no less than quarterly and reviewed with Business Unit Manager and VP of Sales.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.



Requirements of the Sales Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering (preferred) or Business required. MBA preferred.
  • 2+ years in the aerospace industry with a working knowledge of the aerospace, commercial, and military programs (preferred) or technical OEM sales dealing with customer’s engineers and procurement personnel or contract administration experience.
  • Have an established and proven sales record of accomplishment of revenue-based results.
  • Ability to travel 30 to 50%. Customers are mostly based in North America but also in Central and South America and Europe.
