The Showroom Sales Representative for Specialty Tile works with professional trade and retail clients assisting in the selection and specification of luxury tile, stone and related materials for new construction and renovation projects. Duties include new client development, community involvement, product selection, providing technical specifications, fostering new business and project management.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assisting walk in and appointment clients with selection and design of stone and ceramic tile
• Assisting with product knowledge and recommending products based on client’s individual needs
• Developing and maintaining knowledge of all materials
• Providing samples and checking stock of materials
• Providing clients with pricing, quotes and lead times
• Following up on orders, reviewing open orders and contacting customers regarding order status
• Servicing assigned customer accounts and generating new accounts
• Being a part of the local design community through industry events and growing relationships

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

• Must be sales driven and design oriented
• Strong sense of excellent client service and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of tile & stone preferred
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
• Design background preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
