A semiconductor company is seeking a Corporate Sales Rep join their team in Tempe, AZ . This position is responsible for working with clients, the engineering department, the quality assurance department, as well as a production team in the USA and outside of the country on development projects to expand the business, resolve quality issues quickly, and deliver the goods in a timely manner. A bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing in the engineering industry (semiconductor, mechanical, or industrial) - b2b sales experience in the manufacturing industry is acceptable in lieu of mechanical/electrical experience, a valid driver’s license, and ability to travel domestically and internationally is required. This is an exempt, full-time position, hybrid (after 3-month introductory period ), excellent benefits, plus bonus, and 401k. ***Basic Japanese skills preferred but not required. ***
Corporate Sales Rep Duties:
-Receive purchase orders from assigned customers, link them to manufacturing instructions, and manage delivery schedules and payment processes.
-Processes design work orders including releasing and registering them on the internal system.
-Communicate design work orders with the engineering team, including the parent company in Japan.
-Provides engineering support after delivering products if required.
-Reports transaction status in a timely manner.
-Establishes the 3-month sales target for each month and semi-annual sales target.
-Will be working with CTC Department.
-Reports concerning the market and customer’s environment to the management.
-Creates the cost target if required.
-Visit customers for face-to-face meetings, including overseas business trips, and participate in conference calls.
-Liaisons to customer’s primary point of contact.
-Establishes quotation for customers.
-Properly share customer and market information within the company to contribute to better product development.
Corporate Sales Rep Skills:
-Must have a bachelor’s degree
-Must have 3+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing in the engineering industry (semiconductor, mechanical, or industrial) - b2b sales experience in the manufacturing industry is acceptable in lieu of mechanical/electrical experience
-Must have a valid driver’s license
-Must be able to travel domestically and internationally (0.5-1x a month)
-Proven successful track record exceeding revenue goals and quotas for services
-Ability to build new and maintain existing relationships
