The role involves managing complex project lifecycles, communicating with key stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams (internal and external), to ensure alignment with regulatory, financial, and technical requirements. This position will report to Director of Development.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key project stakeholders.
  • Fully-entitle assigned projects with all permits and approvals required for construction and operation.
  • Manage external consultants in conjunction with project entitlement activities.
  • Manage development schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Enable and maintain effective communication with project stakeholders and community members to facilitate all aspects of project development.
  • Foster support from state, county and local governments, community groups, and abutters.
  • Conduct diligence on projects as part of project acquisition process, as required.
  • Collaborate with the utility and engineering teams to optimize interconnection design and obtain interconnection agreements.
  • Work with the Agilitas team and external stakeholders to optimize project design and operating strategy.
  • Work with the internal teams to improve project financials, refine project financial models, and support financial due diligence activities.
  • Support internal finance and EPC teams to facilitate successful project financing and construction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, policy changes, and market developments that could impact project opportunities.
  • Create and maximize value across all assigned projects.
  • Occasional travel is required; some evening and weekend work required.

Candidate Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience, with a proven track record, in distributed-generation solar/energy storage development.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver creative solutions to all stakeholders.
  • Knowledgeable in the solar/energy storage project development process (permitting, land acquisition, interconnection, and regulatory).
  • In-depth knowledge of state-level markets in the U.S. for generation and storage.
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously.
