Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: The BDR (Business Development Representative) is responsible for identifying potential customers and generating leads. This involves researching and identifying potential clients, creating outreach lists, and using various methods to reach out to them.
  • Qualifying Leads: Once a lead is generated, the BDR is responsible for qualifying the lead to determine whether they are a good fit for the company's product or service. This includes identifying the prospect's needs and pain points and assessing whether the company's product or service can address them.
  • Managing the Sales Pipeline: The BDR is responsible for managing the sales pipeline and ensuring that potential clients move through the various stages of the sales process. This involves following up with leads, scheduling meetings, and providing regular updates to management on the status of the pipeline.
  • Market Research: The BDR will conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay up-to-date on industry trends. This involves analyzing market data, attending industry conferences, and networking with potential clients.
  • Reporting: The BDR will create reports that provide insight into the effectiveness of the sales process, including metrics such as conversion rates, deal size, and time to close. This data is used to refine the sales process and improve overall performance.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Located in the greater Columbus area
  • Preferred at least 2 years of experience
  • Healthcare related sales is a plus
  • SaaS related sales is a plus
