Invasive Cardiovascular Tech – Cath Lab Tech (CA License Required)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Invasive Cardiovascular Tech to join a dynamic Cardiac Catheterization Lab team. This role involves directly assisting physicians with cardiac catheterization procedures, prioritizing patient needs, and coordinating care in alignment with medical plans. The position includes participation in an on-call team for emergency STEMI and other urgent procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with all cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Provide patient care, staff education, and emotional support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain technical competence and sensitivity in handling patients during crisis situations.

Qualifications:

Required:

• ARRT certification
• Full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by California
• Current Fluoroscopy Permit
• Current CPR certification
• IABP certification (to be obtained within 6 months of hire)

Preferred:

• CI certification (via ARRT) or CCI registry
• Previous experience as an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist

Skills & Abilities:

• Expertise in technical procedures and patient care
• Strong professional judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure as part of a team
