Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Certified Hand Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will coordinate and direct patient care services for patients of all ages. The primary responsibilities include patient evaluation, assessment, developing and implementing treatment plans, monitoring progress, and modifying treatment plans as needed. This role will ensure that all patient needs are met while maintaining high standards of care, efficiency, and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to develop individualized plans of care.
- Establish, implement, and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and goals.
- Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding treatment, exercises, and therapeutic devices.
- Produce quality documentation in a timely manner that supports the provision of care in accordance with current professional standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Collect and analyze data from outcome measures to monitor patient progress and assess the effectiveness of interventions.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and hospital leadership regarding patient care and progress.
- Demonstrate an understanding of treatment costs, budgeting, staffing, billing/coding, and procedural planning.
- Ensure that the treatment provided is aligned with financial support and efficiency goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy program.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist in the state of Colorado.
- Certification from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC) and recertification every 5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Hand Therapy.
Compensation:
- Pay range per hour, depending on education and experience.
- Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increases, and other forms of compensation may be available.
