A social services organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed professional to join their team in Brooklyn as their new Psychotherapist.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Tues- Saturday (ROTATING SATURDAYS)
• Hours: 35 hour shifts (one late evening to 7 or 8pm)
• Setting: Hybrid (2 in office, 3 remote)

Responsibilities:

The Psychotherapist will be responsible for

• Providing psychotherapy to and managing the clinical needs of a caseload of adults living with serious mental illness
• Maintaining consumer information in the electronic health record
• Coordinating services with other providers
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, and/or LCAT (MSW meeting requirements for NYS limited permit are eligible)
• National Provider ID Number (NPI Number)
• Experience with underserved populations and direct service to people living with serious and persistent mental illness.
• Experienced with Microsoft Suite and general computer literacy

Desired Skills:

• Experience in an OASAS 822 and Article 31 Mental Health Clinic
• Familiarity with recovery-oriented, evidence-based clinical practice
• Experience with dually diagnosed individuals
• Experience with diverse populations
