American Risk Services has an exciting career opportunity for an Account Manager in our Cincinnati office. Our Account Manager will partner with our leadership team to facilitate day-to-day management of current clients' insurance programs, helping the world prepare for the unexpected.

What You'll Do

  • Work to build, maintain and strengthen a company's relationship with a client.
  • Act as a problem solver for assigned accounts and use the opportunity for training and process improvement to drive higher profits.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of client monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Manage and/or assist on-boarding process for new Collateral Protection Insurance clients.
  • Travel (up to 25% of work schedule) to provide services, training, and direction to new and existing clients on a scheduled basis.
  • Responsible for identifying and contacting potential clients. This is not a direct sales position but is a good opportunity to begin the climb on the sales track ladder.



What You'll Need

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience and/or training preferred, or demonstrated skills listed below.
  • Current Property and Casualty license required (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of available commercial lines coverages based on business classification, as well as informed on industry trends and client retention strategies.
  • Highly developed problem solving and solution-design skills; strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership through client support and advocacy skills, as well as the mentoring and guidance of more junior employees.
  • Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentation software.
  • Skilled in use of agency management software with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
