Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Details We care for adult Hospice patients requiring an acute care setting for symptom management. Roughly 50% of our patients pass away while on the Unit and the other 50% are discharged to home after their symptoms have been successfully managed. Our Unit also cares for Hospice patients needing Respite level of care. On any given day, there will be a mix of Acute and Respite level of care patients. Position / Specialty: RN- Hospice Ratios: 1:6 Years of experience REQ: 1 yr First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend REQ: Every other weekend Charting: Epic, previous EPIC experience required. Job Requirements 1 year of experience in the specialty or one of comparable or higher acuity is required. BLS - Basic Life Support is required. ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required for specific RN/Unit positions; AHA or ARC only. PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support is required for specific RN/Unit positions; AHA or ARC only. Schedule Information Weekend REQ: Every other weekend Open to accommodating block schedule?
