Job Description
- Manage and maintain operational data systems to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Collaborate with plant personnel to gather requirements and develop customized data reports and dashboards.
- Utilize Power Apps, Power BI, and SQL to develop and deploy solutions that enhance data accessibility and usability.
- Ensure proper data governance and compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Provide training and support to plant personnel on the use of data management tools and applications.
- Continuously improve data management processes and tools to meet evolving business needs.
Skills Required
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience, preferably within the oil, gas, or energy sectors.
- Proficiency in data management, including hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power BI, and SQL.
- Strong comfort level working with and within databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with plant personnel and cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in refinery operations or similar industrial environments.
- Knowledge of company applications or similar data management platforms.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for data governance and management.
Education/Training/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
