Overview

An innovative company is pushing the boundaries of planetary exploration, designing and operating a fleet of multi-purpose commercial rovers to enhance humanity’s presence in the solar system. The team is seeking a talented and motivated Sr. DevOps Engineer to lead the development of scalable infrastructure, automated testing, and deployment systems for groundbreaking planetary missions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage automated testing and deployment workflows.
• Define and deploy scalable, reliable infrastructure solutions.
• Champion CI/CD best practices across the software team, ensuring seamless delivery pipelines.
• Develop internal tools to enhance team productivity and operational efficiency.
• Deliver actionable analytics on software tool usage to optimize workflows.
• Stay ahead of advancements in systems, networking, security, and virtualization technologies to ensure cutting-edge solutions.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field.
• A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with:
• CI/CD platforms and practices (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, or similar tools).
• Cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
• Monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Datadog, or comparable).
• Containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Deep understanding of Linux and Windows system administration.
• Proven ability to work with REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
• Experienced with Agile methodologies and fostering DevOps best practices.
• Quick to learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
