Location: Denver, CO, or Windsor, CO

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction efforts and develop competitive, accurate cost estimates for complex construction projects. Based in either Denver or Windsor, CO, this role is a critical part of our preconstruction team and offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that shape communities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for ground-up and renovation projects across multiple sectors.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to develop competitive bids.
  • Analyze plans and specifications to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks.
  • Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships, including soliciting and reviewing bids.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations as needed.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior estimating staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 7 years of construction estimating experience, preferably with a general contractor.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth understanding of construction means, methods, costs, and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
