The Senior Electrical Project Engineer must take ownership and responsibility for the management of all assigned projects. Management of assigned projects includes all planning, design, production, quality control and financial responsibilities. He / she must also rely upon an extensive level of knowledge in their specific engineering discipline including a solid knowledge of parallel discipline fields. Coordinates the activities of all team members and assures production meets schedules while producing a reasonable profit. The Senior Project Engineer (Electrical) provides technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to team members to assure total quality of all engineering efforts. The Senior Project Engineer (Electrical) may perform forensic engineering analysis or act as an expert witness.
Qualifications You'll Need
- A minimum of 11 years of experience in the architectural engineering consulting environment
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Engineer expertise in electrical discipline
- Knowledge of construction costs and life cycle analysis
- Experience managing moderate to complex projects and / or functioning as the secondary point of contact on larger projects
- Ability to schedule and manage tasks for the electrical discipline
- Demonstrated success in technical / formal communication with clients and staff
- Proven ability to represent the electrical discipline at meetings
