Amentum is currently searching for a Program Analyst, Counter-Improvised Explosive Devices (C-IED) to join our team at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA to support our Department of the Army, G-3/5/7 Operations Readiness and Mobilization Support contract. Less than 10% of travel within and outside the continental United States is expected for this position.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide analyses of C-IED program, solutions and policies within the supported division. The analyses will support the transition, sustainment, and long-term programming of non-standard asymmetric solutions and initiatives.
- Ensure all initiatives vetted and assessed by the supported division and the C-IED IPT are validated.
- Provide the Government with informational briefings or other appropriate material to ensure that the supported division and senior Army leadership have current knowledge of the C-IED, C-sUAS, and Emergent Threats that could challenge Army operations.
- Provide talking points, recommendations, and review Policy and Strategy revision to AR 11-41 (C-IED Program), the Army Counter-IED Strategy, and the Army’s CIED Annual Report.
- Participate in the CIED IPT and inform government leads of any concerns or friction points within the CIED community of interest.
- Engage with OUSD on the Executive Agent status of the C-IED Program.
- Assist in the writing of Execution Orders (EXORDs), Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs) and other correspondence.
- Create and track FORM 5’s either via ETMS2 or in paper and assist the Government in the staffing of taskers outside of the ETMS2 system.
- Draft meeting EXSUMs for review; and track and coordinate any meeting due outs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and at least five (5) years of related experience required.
- Must have an active Top Secret with SCI eligibility US Government Clearance. Please note that US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance.
- Prior military, especially C-IED, experience preferred.
- Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience in security on the Army/Joint Staff and/or Major Army Commands in Policy, proficient in planning and execution of working groups.
- Must have the ability to work within Government-provided software packages with emphasis on MS Office products, for example, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Must be able to think critically and apply analytical methodologies to raw data to present clear and precise recommendations.
- Ability to focus on Mission requirements while tracking multiple competing priorities.
- Require minimal supervision in the fast-paced, critical environment of the Army Headquarters.
- Must be proficient in the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) (formerly Task Management Tool).
- Ability to clearly articulate analysis through both oral and written communication. Ability to provide executive, technical, and administrative support to senior leaders.
- Proficient in the management and coordination of decentralized C-IED efforts across Army Staffs, Commands, and ASCCs.
- Ability to formulate broad objectives and implementation goals to coordinate and synchronize C-IED activities across the Army and with external stakeholders.
- Able to support development of analysis, recommendations, and staff Senior level information, coordination and decision documents and materials.
