Our Team

As part of a small but mighty team we are responsible for delivering best in class, digital experiences through our websites – this is a backend operations role (HTML/SQL experience required). We drive demand generation, engagement & growth across the entire portfolio. You will build and manage scalable operations that bring our marketing programs & content strategies to life. Additionally, you will support, via hands on experience and execution, marketing growth through delivery of website analytics and actionable insights to inform activation & effectiveness.

Your Role

HVG is seeking a driven Marketing Operations Specialist with a strong technical backend focus to help build the next great company. If you have a passion for cross-functional collaboration, website optimization, and marketing analytics, this role is for you.

You are skilled in website creation, troubleshooting, optimization, reporting, and project management. As a key member of our team, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing marketing operations that bring exceptional customer experiences to life.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Operations & Roadmap Ownership

  • Own and manage the marketing operations roadmap, encompassing website analytics, optimization, feature prioritization, GoDaddy management, Yardi/website troubleshooting, ILS optimization, SEO, A/B testing, and operational benchmarks.
  • Establish goals and action plans to continuously improve website quality, standardization, and feature development.

Website & Feature Optimization

  • Lead the planning and execution of medium-sized projects (e.g., feature updates) by identifying key milestones, developing execution plans, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Own web page tracking and optimization strategies to maximize engagement and drive results.

Project Management & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Use project management tools (e.g., ticketing systems) to track deliverables and ensure timely execution of workflows.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and deliver clear, transparent communications on project status and requirements.

MarTech & Process Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with industry tools, trends, and best practices to improve efficiency and marketing performance.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Contribute to sprint planning, prioritize tasks, and ensure marketing campaigns are delivered on time and to specification.
  • Ensure compliance with marketing policies and procedures, completing relevant training and maintaining a strong understanding of compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, program management, project management, product management, or related roles.
  • 1+ year of experience in technology/process improvement with strong proficiency (hands on experience) in backend technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, Python, SQL).
  • Proficiency in web analytics, dashboard tools, and A/B testing.
