Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelors degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• At least 3 years of experience within commercial construction
• Hands on experience with Spec Industrial
• Prior experience working for a general contractor
• Prior background in industrial, healthcare, retail, office, senior living or multi-family projects is preferred
• Experience estimating and providing preconstruction support for projects ranging from $5M to $100M

Job Description

An employer is looking for a highly skilled Estimator II / Preconstruction Manager to join one of our largest national general contractor clients. This team is local to Atlanta, therefore you must be local to Atlanta or be willing to relocate to Atlanta to be eligible for this role. This team would consider applicants local to FL as well, as they also have a location in Tampa. This team typically goes into the office 4 days a week Mon - Thurs. In this role you'll be doing estimating / preconstruction work for spec industrial builds; i.e builders building a building without the promise of a tenant moving in. This will be bare bones construction, so that once a tenant is identified, additional accommodations can be made based on their preferences.
