Senior Associate - Project Finance

Location: NY / Annapolis

Salary: Up to $140,000 - $155,000 + Bonus

Piper Maddox are partnered with an industry leading climate investment firm as they hire for a Director of Project Finance to join their talented team. With over $12bl in AUM this organisation have supported some of the most innovative clean energy developers as they expand their portfolios across the US. As part of their behind the meter team you will be key a key figure in building complex, innovative financial models and forecasting for solar and storage projects.

What you will do:

• Play a key role in an agile finance team building models and processes critical to the successful development of distributed generation scale projects.
• Own the financial models for a portfolio of renewable energy investments focusing on the C&I / behind the meter projects from initial feasibility through to financial closing.
• Act as a resource for various transactions including tax equity, debt financing and M&A opportunities for solar / storage / wind projects.

What you will have:

• 2+ years experience in project finance creating and developing financial models for renewable energy projects.
• Experience building financing models providing insight into profitability, revenues, construction and operational costs.
• Depth of knowledge specifically within tax equity or debt financing projects is a must have.
