Job Description

Analysts will work with their team to monitor for online threats and investigate those making them. When not completing client work, Analysts contribute to the improvement of operational standards, procedures, and policies. On an as-needed basis, Analysts may also provide research support on larger projects within our other practices. This position focuses on user-generated physical and reputational threats -- it is NOT information technology, infrastructure, or other technical Cyber threat or OTM threat-focused.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Analysts are generally responsible for:

  • Monitoring social media platforms, the deep and dark web and proprietary data feeds for references to individuals and companies.
  • Reviewing alerted on content and assessing what, if any, risk the content poses to the monitored entity.
  • Conducting research into individuals posting content referencing clients.
  • Summarizing information from multiple sources and presenting results to clients in the form of targeted alerts, concise memos, or comprehensive reports.
  • Prioritize several projects and assignments on multiple topics, while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours, when needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates will have 1-3 years of previous direct work experience (including internships), particularly in a research or analysis capacity.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in a foreign language (written and reading) is a “nice to have.”
