The Opportunity:

We are collaborating with an innovative biotech startup revolutionizing healthcare and research data systems. This company integrates advanced technologies to create a scalable, secure platform that empowers researchers, healthcare providers, and patients with actionable insights and seamless workflows.

The Role:

As a Staff Full-Stack Engineer, you will architect and develop robust systems, drive the implementation of DevOps practices, and contribute to building a scalable platform. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, setting the foundation for a potential transition into a Product Manager role.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and implement full-stack solutions using Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and other modern technologies.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
• Design and optimize scalable APIs and microservices for seamless integration across the platform.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure platform reliability and performance.
• Actively contribute to the team’s DevOps culture by automating processes and promoting best practices.
• Work closely with leadership to understand product strategy and help shape the roadmap.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative, innovative engineering culture.
• Engage in cross-functional discussions to gain insights into customer needs, preparing for a future transition into product management.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience using Golang for backend development
• Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Proven track record in DevOps practices and automation.
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) is a plus.
• Experience designing scalable and secure APIs and microservices.
• Passion for understanding user needs and shaping technical solutions that address them.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• A proactive approach to learning about product management concepts and practices.
• Experience in biotech, health tech, or startup environments is a strong advantage.

The Benefits:

This role offers a competitive base salary of $170,000-$190,000, significant equity, and comprehensive benefits including 401k, health, dental, and vision care.
