A small, family-oriented, private urology practice is seeking a certified Medical Assistant. They are a dedicated team of health professionals committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse population of patients. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, high-energy, and demonstrate a passion for administering exceptional patient care and customer service. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Responds promptly, professionally and courteously to all patients’ needs.

• Cooperates and communicates effectively with all patients, families and staff.
• Prepares examining rooms including cleaning/sterilizing and ensuring necessary supplies and equipment are available.
• Prepares patients for procedures.
• Obtains patient vital signs.
• Assists physician and PA with exams and procedures.
• Administers injections.
• Performs all essential laboratory procedures.
• Collects patient samples and prepares to send for lab analysis.
• Understands HIPPA laws and requirements.
• Answer and triage patient phone calls and questions.
• Patient check in and check out.
• Ordering supplies for the office.
• Support front-office as required.
• Standard working hours are 8 AM - 3:30 PM.
