Role Summary: The Executive Chef is a multi unit culinary leader reporting to the Campus Executive Chef for Culinary Support Services. This role in particular will index heavily on the expediting of all catering outbound orders and acting as a critical checkpoint cementing adherence to the entire quality control/assurance process with a focus on ingredient and allergen verification.The EC works closely with cross functional support teams including: Regional Executive Chef, Food and Workplace Safety, Vendor Relations, Human Resources, Learning & Development, IT, Sustainability, Nutrition, Equipment Maintenance and Repair, Marketing Communication and Engagement.. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Degree from an accredited culinary institution preferred; bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 4 years culinary supervisory experience in a similar high volume, quality food service establishmentHighly developed culinary skills with comfort in traditional, modern and multi ethnic cuisinesAbility to create new, innovating and exciting dishes within guidelines of the food programProven track record in leadership: coaching and teaching skills with individuals, and teamsAbility to proactively solve problems and work independently and/or in teams, effectively and efficiently with limited supervisionProven ability to manage budgets, utilize reporting platforms, and meet financial goalsAbility to effectively communicate, motivate and interact with all levels within the organizationProficient in computer and technical skills, working knowledge of Google Drive programsAbility to maintain confidentiality
