Must Haves:

• Associates degree in a technical field
• 5 or more years of experience in IT Software/asset management
• Prior experience with multi-location coordination of technical resources
• Experience managing leased assets
• Experience with Service Catalog, creating items and flow designer
• Familiarity with ITIL foundation concepts
• Background in ServiceNow SAM

Plusses:

• ITIL certification
• ITAM, CITAM, CHAMP industry certifications
• ServiceNow Admin Certification

Day to Day:

A client of Insight Global is looking to hire an IT Asset Management Specialist to join their team. This person will be responsible for maintaining IT software asset inventory which may involve working in the software queue and defining, deploying, and managing all phases of the enterprise software ITAM process. He or she will also be responsible for managing agreements and relationships with vendors to ensure the company is equipped with the proper software to fit the needs of the employees. This position will be local to Kansas City, KS, and will be onsite 2 days per week.
