Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Billing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Managing and executing the entire billing process in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Processing high volumes of invoices and billing documents.
3. Collaborating with other departments to ensure all billing information is accurate and up-to-date.
4. Resolving any billing discrepancies or inaccuracies.
5. Maintaining a comprehensive record of all billing activities.
6. Assisting with month-end closing procedures.
7. Providing exceptional customer service to clients regarding any billing-related inquiries.
8. Ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
9. Contributing to the development and implementation of new billing systems and procedures.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you need to have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume billing role, preferably within the construction industry.
2. Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
3. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle high volumes of data and meet tight deadlines.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
7. A customer service-oriented approach and the ability to handle client inquiries professionally.
8. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices would be an advantage.
