An automotive parts manufacturer by the Circleville, OH area is seeking a Payroll Administrator responsible for payroll administration, 401k account management and benefits administration. This position will be a part of the HR department, and is a full-time, direct hire position.
Must be available to work on-site full-time, Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
Payroll Administrator Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance, policies and procedures for payroll processing
- Audit employee timesheets for hours worked and accuracy
- Maintain current information about IRS regulations and electronically file 5500 reports
- Handle S/LTD claims, retirement, and insurance enrollments
- Assist with new hire orientation when needed, conduct benefits enrollment, and enter new hire information into ADP payroll
- Provide customer support and respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits
- Assist other HR duties as required
Payroll Administrator Qualifications:
- Ideally an Associate’s Degree or at least 3 years of experience with payroll administration and benefit duties
- Experience with ADP is a requirement
- Must have prior experience with payroll processing on a weekly or biweekly basis and a solid understanding of payroll tax laws
- Must be familiar with HIPPA Laws, and 401k Legal requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- This position is in an office work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
