A large retail client based in Brentwood, TN is looking for a Facilities Specialist to join their team. In the role you will be responsible for the resolution of facility maintenance and repair requests for 300+ locations to ensure a safe and secure environment for customers and associates. You will intake maintenance requests and determine the scope of work to be done, dispatch/bid the work to vendors, negotiate pricing, correspond with the field team and the repair team through completion, collect and check invoices for accuracy. Additionally, you will research HVAC, electrical, structural, concrete, flooring, roofing, and general contracting vendors to partner with long term while looking for ways to make maintenance requests more efficient and cost effective. This role require you to have experience in facilities maintenance so that you can troubleshoot and help field teams make repairs on-site if they are able to complete without an external vendor. There is availability for Over Time work in the form of a 8-week rotating on-call schedule on Saturday that may require you to take escalated calls to help mitigate certain issues.
Must Haves:
3+ years experience in multi-facility, multi-building, or multi-site maintenance
High School Diploma
Ability to manage and prioritize a large volume of requests in a fast paced environment
Plusses:
Proficient in MS Office
Experience using a CMMS tool – Computerized Maintenance Management System
