A non-profit organization based in New York, NY, seeks a temporary Executive Assistant to support one of their senior leaders. Must be able to handle conflicting priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $35-50/hr.
Duration: 6-month contract
On-site: 4 days in-office per week, 1 day remote
Hours are 10 AM - 6 PM
Duties:
- Manage executive's calendar and travel arrangements
- Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence, presentations (including PowerPoints), and reports
- Assist with event planning, contracts, and expense reports
- Provide research and administrative support for program work
- Coordinate meetings and collaborate with cross-department teams
- Assist with project coordination and management
- Handle invoices, lobbying disclosures, and other documents requiring approval
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of executive-level administrative support experience, ideally out of a non-profit or public policy space
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in MS Office; Salesforce knowledge is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential matters with professionalism
- Experience working with senior leaders in fast-paced environments
- Highly adaptable and able to manage complex priorities
