Job Description

A non-profit organization based in New York, NY, seeks a temporary Executive Assistant to support one of their senior leaders. Must be able to handle conflicting priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


Pay: $35-50/hr.

Duration: 6-month contract

On-site: 4 days in-office per week, 1 day remote

Hours are 10 AM - 6 PM


Duties:

  • Manage executive's calendar and travel arrangements
  • Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence, presentations (including PowerPoints), and reports
  • Assist with event planning, contracts, and expense reports
  • Provide research and administrative support for program work
  • Coordinate meetings and collaborate with cross-department teams
  • Assist with project coordination and management
  • Handle invoices, lobbying disclosures, and other documents requiring approval


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of executive-level administrative support experience, ideally out of a non-profit or public policy space
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Salesforce knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with professionalism
  • Experience working with senior leaders in fast-paced environments
  • Highly adaptable and able to manage complex priorities
