We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our team at our US office. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in AWS administration, Windows Server Administration, PowerShell scripting, and other related technologies. In addition to the primary skills, the candidate should be a proactive problem solver and capable of managing critical systems effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. AWS Administration: Utilize your AWS Certified skills to manage and maintain our AWS infrastructure, including but not limited to EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, and IAM roles. Implement best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimization.
2. CloudFormation: Create and manage AWS CloudFormation templates to automate the deployment of infrastructure resources.
3. Windows Server Administration: Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance.
4. PowerShell Scripting: Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine administrative tasks, streamline processes, and enhance system monitoring and management.
5. Linux Scripting (Optional): Familiarity with Linux scripting is a plus, as it can help in cross-platform administration and troubleshooting.
6. MS SQL Administration (Optional): If experienced, assist in managing and maintaining MS SQL Server databases, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security.
7. System Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring system reliability and performance. Continuously optimize systems for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
8. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
9. Security Compliance: Enforce security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard company data and resources.
10. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various business applications and projects, providing technical expertise and support.

Qualifications:

• AWS Certified (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator).
• Proven experience in AWS administration and CloudFormation.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server Administration, including Active Directory.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting; experience with other scripting languages is a plus.
• Familiarity with Linux systems is a bonus.
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server administration is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
