Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Consultant

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Oracle Cloud Financials Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP and financial modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Project Accounting (PA), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and more. Additionally, the candidate should have a solid background in Oracle Apex, Oracle Database (SQL/PLSQL), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Oracle BI Publisher.


The role demands a blend of functional and technical skills to provide end-to-end solutions and support for Oracle Cloud Financials implementations, customizations, and integrations with other systems. This is a dynamic role that requires collaboration with business users, IT teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless system operations and enhancements.


Key Responsibilities:

Oracle Cloud Financials Expertise:

  • Have familiarity with Oracle Cloud Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, PA, CM, etc.) and knowledge of tables/views in each area.
  • Ability to operate independently in doing data analysis, extracts by querying the Oracle Cloud tables.
  • Create custom BI reports/extracts against Oracle ERP Cloud to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and design system solutions that meet business needs.
  • Technical Development & Support:
  • Develop custom reports, interfaces, and data migration tools using Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Apex, SQL, PL/SQL, and other Oracle Cloud tools.
  • Perform integration development using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), ensuring smooth data flow between Oracle Cloud Financials and other systems (ERP, legacy applications, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues related to Oracle Cloud Financials and integration points.
  • Customize Oracle Cloud applications to meet specific client requirements using a mix of functional and technical knowledge.
  • Project Implementation and Lifecycle Management:
  • Lead or assist with the design, implementation, and rollout of Oracle Cloud Financials applications.
  • Participate in all project phases, including requirements gathering, system design, configuration, testing, training, and post-implementation support.
  • Prepare documentation for customizations, integrations, and configurations.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience in Oracle Cloud ERP with hands-on expertise in the Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, PA, CM).
  • Proficiency in Oracle Apex, SQL, and PL/SQL for report development, customizations, and data manipulations.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for system integrations (RESTful, SOAP, file-based integrations).
  • Expertise in developing reports using Oracle BI Publisher.
  • Functional Skills:
  • Basic understanding of financial accounting principles and business processes for modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
  • Proven ability to manage configurations and customizations for financial modules.
  • Experience in supporting financial month-end and year-end close processes within Oracle Cloud.


Other Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Project management skills with experience in working on large-scale Oracle Cloud implementations.
  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Finance, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience working with Oracle Cloud Financials.
  • Proven track record in Oracle Cloud ERP implementations, customizations, and integrations.
  • Certification in Oracle Cloud Financials (preferred).
